Simran Oberoi

I take a solution-oriented approach to all family issues while recognizing each client’s unique circumstances and needs. My goal is to give my clients a voice and an opportunity to be heard. I try to resolve matters out of court whenever possible, but I will fearlessly defend my clients and fight for a just resolution if needed.

Simran ("Sim") was born and raised in the Fraser Valley. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a Minor in Asian Area Studies from the University of British Columbia in 2017 and obtained her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in 2021. 

While in law school, Simran was on the Dean’s List and received the Dean’s Course Prize Award in Family Law and Creditors’ Remedies. She also represented TRU alongside her team at the 2021 Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot Competition, where her team took home the award for Best Factum of the Appellant. 

Sim was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2022 after completing her articles with the firm. She has successfully represented clients in Provincial Court, Supreme Court, and the Court of Appeal.

She enjoys soaking up the sun on the beach with friends and family, craft beer, interesting facts and playing with her dog, Bambi.
