Paramdeep Bhangu

I believe effective advocacy begins with understanding the individual behind each file. Every client has different goals, concerns, and communication needs, and I tailor my approach to provide the level of guidance and support that best supports them.

With a strong analytical approach and passion for drafting, I focus on developing clear, well-supported legal materials and practical strategies that advance my client’s objective. My goal is to provide thoughtful, detail-orientated representation while helping clients navigate the legal process with confidence.

Param was born in Montreal and raised in Surrey, British Columbia. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria in 2019, with a focus on biology and psychology. Her interest in human behaviour, critical thinking, and understanding how people navigate complex situations inspired her to pursue a career in law. Param went on to earn her Juris Doctor, with First Class Distinction, from Bond University in 2023, with a specialization in Canadian Law and Practice.

While attending law school at Bond University, Param volunteered with two pro bono clinics, where she strengthened her client advocacy skills and contributed to improving access to justice for vulnerable members of the community. During law school, she also received several awards recognizing her strong academic performance and work ethic, including First in Class awards in Corporate Law, and Public and Criminal Law.

Param was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2026 after completing her articles with Chhina Das LLP. She has appeared before both the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia, attended numerous chambers applications, drafted and delivered written submissions, and assisted senior counsel with chambers and trial preparation. 

Param is a member of the Fraser Valley Law Association, the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, the South Asian Bar Association, and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers. 

Outside of the office, Param enjoys Pilates, exploring new restaurants, spending time with friends and family, and planning her next adventure.
