Kanwar Gill

My approach is goal-centric. I think critically and creatively, developing outside-the-box solutions to obtain my client’s desired outcome. I want to help my clients obtain the results they aspire to obtain with zealous and honourable advocacy.

Kanwar was born and raised in Surrey, British Columbia. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Simon Fraser University in 2018. He received his law degree from the University of Aberdeen (with distinction) in 2020. After that, he attended the University of Alberta (faculty of law) and completed the Internationally Trained Lawyer Pathway in 2021.

While attending law school at the University of Aberdeen, Kanwar volunteered with the Aberdeen Law Project, where he was an integral member of the Ambassador’s project. Thereafter, he completed further legal studies at the University of Alberta, where he volunteered with the Student Legal Services of Edmonton as a criminal law case worker.

Kanwar was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2022 after completing his articles with the firm. He has successfully represented clients in both the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia.

He has honed his legal acumen from thorough and detailed preparation for court appearances and/or trials, keen study and understanding of family law, and high-quality courtroom advocacy.

When Kanwar focuses on something other than his clients, he enjoys travelling with his friends and family. He is always looking for new experiences and hopes to travel to every province and state across North America.
